We had an great time in Sedona celebrating a birthday with extended family! It was our first time traveling there and it was so much fun 🤍

There’s always design inspiration everywhere…and Sedona did not disappoint especially with the distinctive Pueblo Revival style architecture…which draws inspiration from old Spanish pueblos and missions. The homes have an adobe look painted in natural earth tones, with flat roofs and wooden beams. It’s absolutely stunning surrounded by all the red rock.

Another fun fact I learned on this trip and got the opportunity to visit is the @chapelsedona which was inspired and commissioned by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, Marguerite Brunswig Staude (who worked with project architect Richard Hein and architect August K). It was a highlight for me as I had studied a lot about Frank Lloyd Wright and his work in school.
I highly recommend if you haven’t traveled to Sedona ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been in the garden a lot more these days since the rainy days seem to be past us and getting ready for summer ☀️
My husband has been tending the rose beds for a few years now and it’s definitely paying off. He’s seen fruitful and not so fruitful years, but hasn’t given up. He keeps showing up 🙌

Wrapping up on this beautiful Mother’s Day with my family @communalcoffee and my ultimate go-to drink, a matcha 🍵 latte.

About 5 months ago I started this habit of prepping for the week ahead by planning over the weekend. I use to dread Mondays till I started adding some simple tasks on Saturday or Sunday which helped me (& my family) stay on track and prepared for the week.

4 TIPS
1. Use a planner to review the month and week ahead.
2. Meal plan and grocery shop so that I’ve got lunches and most dinners covered.
3. Clean and stock the car. I get it washed if needed, or take the handheld and vacuum. With three busy kids, I like to have my car clean and stocked with snacks, water, wipes, pull ups etc.
4. Calendar review with my spouse. This helps to manage expectations and communicate any events that are not normally on the weekly schedule.

One of my favorite phases of a project is install day. It’s when all the hard work comes together and you see the finishing touches come to life. It’s such a special moment to see the client’s dream come to fruition.

I’ve been a big fan of @northcountytileandstone for awhile here on IG. For those of you that don’t already follow them, they are based in San Diego and they carry a beautiful variety of decorative, artisan, handcrafted, glass subway, mosaic tiles and MORE
In addition, they offer an array of flooring and have unique and distinctive home decor. My little one came with me to pick up some tile samples and we got to checkout their showroom. Their team is always so responsive and really great to work with. I highly recommend 🙌

Hi 👋 I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Tina, I’m married to my best friend and we have three awesome kiddos!

I grew up loving fashion and interior design (raised on Martha Stewart magazine and @HGTV Candace Olsen design). I would describe myself as a continuous learner, and have many topics of interest such as: neuroscience, health and wellness…and can not live without podcasts. Though I have a degree in Psychology, most of my career has been within the apparel industry. Most recently I’ve spent the last 7 years working in ministry for a church while raising and homeschooling my children.

I have always had a passion for interior design but thought it was out of reach vocationally speaking with all that I’ve had going on the last decade. After many years of waiting and praying for discernment and guidance God opened up a few opportunities that have led me to interior styling and design. It’s been a slow process but rewarding and honestly just so fun!
