My youngest child is in preschool and they have an Easter celebration at school this week, so I wanted to make something fun and teach the kids the meaning of Easter with this simple Easter Story Snack Mix. Keep reading on to make your own DIY Easter Story Snack Mix.
How to make your own Easter Story Snack Mix?
What you will need:
- Download Free Printable (see below)
- Pretzel Sticks
- Craisins
- Mini White Marshmallows
- Goldfish Crackers
- Easter M&M’s
- Round Crackers
- Plastic Baggies
- Cardstock
- Printer (send to Staples Printer for Simple document printing, or check out your local library. Our local library allows us to print up to 50 pages per month.)
- Scissors
- Ribbon or String
What each piece of the snack mix represents of the Easter story:
- Pretzel Sticks – represent the cross. Colossians 2:14
- Craisins – the blood of Jesus. Ephesians 1:7
- Round Crackers – the stone rolled away from the tomb. Luke 24:2
- White Marshmallows – our sins are washed away. 1 John 1:9
- Goldfish – be fishers of men. Matthew 4:19
- M&M’s – sweet treat. Psalm 34:8
Place a handful of each items in plastic bags, tie up with a ribbon on string, hole punch these tags and attach.
