After the holidays I feel a mad rush to organize, especially the kids’ rooms. Despite my efforts of purging and giving away unused toys during the Fall months, there is always a new influx of toys after their birthdays and Christmas. To help ease my anxiety and declutter all the toys, I use these kids toy storage and organizers. Check out the list below and let me know how they help you, too!
Over the door Toy Organizer. For a while I was using rope storage baskets from Target which I think are great, however, I found that they took up alot of floor space. I just love that this organizer gets toys off the floor.
Stackable Lego Storage Boxes. We have soooo many Lego bricks and I found these stackables to be my latest solution to organizing them.
Bookshelf. I have this bookshelf next to my kids bunk bed, so it doubles up as a night stand as well. Pro tip: I try to organize the books by height and color so aesthetically it looks more tidy.
Wooden Crates. These crates come in two sizes at Target. I place larger toys in the large crates, and small items like hot wheels in the smaller crates. TIP: I only stack up to two crates at a time as they can tip over.
Storage Cube Organizer & Wooden Storage Cubes. This combination together stores alot of different items you want to tuck away. I categorize toys first and then place in bins such as: toy animals, dress up items, Barbie clothing and accessories, American girl clothing. TIP: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure you secure the storage cube to a wall to avoid tipping.
